Best places to see Zurich from above!

Top 1: Grossmünster

-> The most central way to see Zurich from above is to go up to Grossmünster North Tower. It is in the city center, and the views are great. Grossmünster Church used to be part of a monastery and it was built over the tombs of two Zurich saints – Felix and Regula. There are  187 stairs to go up.

Entrance:  4 CHF / 2 CHF (students)

Opening hours: Sommer (1/3 to 31/10): 10:00-17:00 (Sunday from 12:30)

Winter (1/11 to 28/2): 10:00 – 16:30 (Sundays from 12:30)

Top 2: Lindenhof

-> One of the fascinating places in Zurich is Lindenhof. It is also one of the oldest places in Zurich – the Romans already had there a fortress in 1 century A.D. Lindenhof is a nice park with a fountain. Moreover, it is a great place to watch the sunsets.

Top 3: Polyterasse

-> Last but not least is Polyterasse – this terrace is the most loved platform for great views over the old city and Uetliberg. It is situated just before the ETH (the best ranked High School in Switzerland).
